How a session works
-
Choose a day
Choose a stock and date, or practice with both hidden in a blind drill.
-
Trade it bar by bar
Play, pause or step one minute at a time. Place market, limit and stop orders with a stop loss and target.
-
Read your scorecard
See your P&L, win rate and R multiples, plus every rule you broke and when you broke it.
What the scorecard checks
How it works| −20 | Stop before entry. | Every trade should have a stop from the start. |
|---|---|---|
| −15 | Risk per trade. | Dollar risk stays within your limit. |
| −15 | No widening stops. | Moving a stop further away is flagged. |
| −15 | No adding to losers. | Averaging down is flagged. |
| −10 | No chasing. | Entries stretched far from VWAP are flagged. |
| −10 | No revenge trades. | Re-entering right after a loss is flagged. |
| −10 / −20 | Trade count and daily loss. | Overtrading and trading past your max loss are flagged. |
Who it is for
Newer and developing US stock day traders who want more practice repetitions than a live market allows, and who want honest feedback on their habits, not just their P&L.
What BarDrill is not
BarDrill is not a broker and does not give trade ideas or signals. Replays use 1-minute bars without Level 2 or tick data, so it is built for practicing setups and discipline, not for tape reading or scalping single ticks.
